Make sure that the drill is set for the right speed for the cutting application: wood vs brass vs steel, etc.
If you have never adjusted the speed before, ask a knowledgeable member for help.
SAFETY
- Entanglement HAZARD
- No one wears ties in the shop anymore, but long hair, sleeves, and headphones are all still at risk
- Make sure that long hair is tied back
- No long sleeves
- No headphones, earbuds, or loose wires
- Make sure work piece is secured or clamped down
Depth Setting
You can adjust the depth of the drill by adjusting the stop.
If the ring collar is broken or missing, you can print a new one using this file that can be downloaded from our GitHub repo, click here.
If you break the collar and are unable to print a replacement, please notify the Board of Directors
