We have a Fresnel lens waiting on a brave soul to step up and build something awesome with it.
"What awesome thing could I build with it" you might ask? How about a solar powered death ray?
We extracted the lens from a broken rear projection TV cluttering up the space during the winter of 2014/2015. It is plastic and approx 34" x 44". Here is a pic:
