Restrictions
Station Provided PLA ONLY Must have understanding of adjusting Z-layer
Basic Instructions
This set up to work with standard PLA only, the default settings in Repetier will give good results.
Couple of things to using this type of printer
The Z axis needs to be checked each time, do this by running clicking on the little house next to Z in Repetier and then make small adjustments to the Z endstop until a slip of paper fits but can still be moved between the nozzle and BED.
But you may also need to first Level the Bed. The four outermost M3 screws are the level adjustments. This article Bed Leveling will walk you through it
Advanced Operational Knowledge
There are some more advanced tasks that not everyone needs to know to print, but needs to know to troubleshoot:
- How to clear nozzle jams
- How to load/replace filament
Warnings
- Keep loose hair and sleeves away from all moving parts.
- Print nozzle/extruder operating temperature range is 180-300°C (356-572°F).300°C
- Some printed parts may present a CHOKING HAZARD or may be SHARP; not for children under 3 years old.
- Build plate is glass, take care not to scratch it
