Member Chuck took the donated Traffic Light and wired up a 5v Particle Photon for $19 (Web controlled Arduino) and 4 channel 120v relay for $10. This allows him to remotely control the 5v pins and turn various 120v lights on and off. Very cool, but alot of clicking!

With some help of those from the bi-weekly #Dev-BUG (Arduino and Raspberry Pi Development Board Meetup) we then ported replaced Particle with a cheaper $5 Arduino Pro Micro. Now when the fixture is plugged into 120v, it automatically runs simulations of what a real traffic light does
